The Challenge
MannixRyan.ie approached Dara Creative with the task of designing and developing 'the best property website in the world!'... no tall order their then! They wanted their website to utilise the latest in web technology to exhibit their clients property in the most dynamic and effective way. It also had to be fully integrated with MyHome.ie to keep the administration time and costs to a minimum, allowing them to focus on what they do best, selling their clients property.
Our Approach
We undertook an extensive exercise in competitor research both domestically and internationally, identifying areas of opportunity for MannixRyan.ie to use to their advantage.
We created a website design that was primarily built around the high quality video and photography as these 2 elements were their unique selling proposition.
Using a pre-existing colour pallet, we created a very sharp, professional and premium looking design. The use of animated jquery galleries and menu elements gives the site a kinetic energy, enhancing the user experience.
When it came to the main property galleries, we developed an xml-based, full screen flash interface, which meant that the high quality images could have maximum impact, allowing the user to really 'experience' the properties.
One of the most important aspects of the build was to integrate our content management system with the MyHome.ie property management system. This allows MannixRyan.ie to keep administration time and costs to a minimum.
The site uses 2 forms of property searches. A quick search for the casual browser and a more advanced version which allows you perform more specific searches.
Other useful features of the website are the 'book a viewing' facility, property maps, call back requests and newsletter signups.
Result
The launch of the new website has given MannixRyan.ie a very powerful marketing tool. It really puts them in a league of their own and promotes their quality range of services as well as marketing their clients property to their maximum potential.
