Jimmy is founder and Managing Director of Dara Creative. Establishing the company in 1994, he has since then managed its development into one of Ireland’s leading Graphic Design consultancies. Jimmy holds a B. Comm. degree from NUIG and is a graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland. An active member of Dublin Chamber of Commerce, and former Treasurer of Design Business Ireland.

He has twenty five years experience in marketing, client development and project management and has been involved in numerous branding projects which have delivered significant results for clients and helped them to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Brian has a Marketing Degree and is a CIM Diploma graduate with fifteen years experience in a wide range of marketing disciplines. He has been a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing for twelve years and sits on the CIM Ireland Board. Brian joined Dara Creative in 2002, developing the internal quality systems, managing production and planning/ project managing various marketing and brand identity campaigns for a wide range of clients.

Brian has worked on hundreds of branding programmes, marketing campaigns and bid support projects for a wide range of clients. He manages the design and production of large marketing projects and oversees the design team in the Dublin office.

Ruth holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Dublin Business School (DBS) and diploma in Graphic Design from Vilnius College of Build & Design (Lithuania). Since coming to Ireland in 2002, she has gained broad sales and customer service experience in consumer goods sector. She joined the client service team at Dara Creative in early 2007 and has worked closely with the design team to deliver a number of successful projects.

Brian achieved a 1st Honours Degree in Visual Communications at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and has also been a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers. His work focuses on both print and web design, with particular interest in Branding and Illustration.

Brian joined Dara Creative in 2002 as part of the design team and quickly developed the existing multimedia division and introduced a strong illustrative approach to print design. Brian’s illustration work has been chosen by American Illustration to appear on distribute, their prestigious web gallery. Brian has delivered effective and award winning branding and design projects over the last nine years. He has been awarded or nominated for more than 14 individual design and web awards in this time.

Sarah graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in 2007 with an Honours degree in Visual Communications and has also been a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers.

Sarah joined the Dara Creative design team in 2008 and to date has worked on a number of branding and design projects. She has a particularly keen eye for consistency as well as a vast knowledge of the limitations and possibilities of web design including best practice dimensions and grids, use of dynamic galleries, sliding menus,  tooltip, web-safe fonts and colours.

Laura graduated from the Limerick School of Art and Design (LIT) in 2004 with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Visual Communications and has also been a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers.  

Laura joined the Dara Creative design team in 2007 and to date has been the lead designer on numerous branding and website projects due to her flair for website interface design combined with a fresh and dynamic branding style.

She has a particularly keen eye for colour and a strong eye for detail. Her typographic skills brings a distinctive visual element to the projects she works on.

Treasa is a graduate of Visual Communications from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in 1993.  She joined Dara Creative in 2000 as a key member of the design team with a particular focus on developing  Dara Creative  design quality systems, overseeing print production quality and introducing project management systems for the creative team.

With her eighteen years experience she has substantial insight in a broad range of project types, with a particular focus on brand identity and its effective implementation. By introducing traditional research methology to the process of graphic design, has insured Dara Creative achieves the best results for our clients.

Therese received a 1st Honours Masters in  Professional Design Practice from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in 2008. As well as BSc in Multimedia from Dublin City University (DCU) in 2004.

Therese brings a passion for branding to the team as well as expertise designing for all media from screen to print.

Ruth graduated from the Dunlaoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technology (DLIADT) in 2006 with a 1st Class Honors Degree in Interactive Design and New Media and 2005 from DLIADT with a 1st Class Honors Degree in Visual Communications. Ruth has worked on numerous branding, design and website projects for clients such as Dublin Port, Moy Materials, Brian S Ryan, AGEC and GT Energy. Ruth has a particular interest in Interactive design and branding. Ruth fosters a strong understanding of the user experience and the importance of clear information hierarchy within digital design.

Since qualifying from GMIT with a Diploma in Art and Design (Hons), Oriana has ten years experience in leading graphic design studios in both Australia and Ireland.

With her vast experience corporate branding comes as second nature to her, whether it be printed collateral, bespoke illustration or web design.

Kamil graduated from Opole Institute of Technology, Poland in 2007 with a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and in 2001 a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from International School of Business, Design and Technology in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.

Kamil joined Dara Creative in 2008 as a key member of our web division, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining websites. Templating complex websites in standards compliant XHTML/HTML, CSS 2 & 3. As well as client side scripting using Javascript, JQuery and AJAX. Using technologies such as JSON, XML, SOAP, AJAX, RSS, Flash as required.

Setting up of sites in PHP based Content Management Systems including MODx, Wordpress, Joomla, and Drupal. Database design and development using MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
Deploying sites to Apache or IIS servers, domain repointing and email setup / management. Training clients in CMS systems and document custom applications Website content management, technical update and search engine optimisation.

Robin graduated from Dublin City University (DCU) with a first class honours B.Sc. in Multimedia, specialising in programming and web design.

Robin joined the Dara Creative team in 2011. He is highly skilled in Object Orientated PHP, JavaScript and MySQL and has a raft of experience with XML, HTML5 and CSS3.

With his forward thinking approach to web standards Robin develops cutting edge websites designed with the user's needs in mind.

Ed started in software development in UCD working on data analytics software integration as part of a degree in mechanical engineering. After 6 years industry experience working primarily on data-related projects, ranging from GIS/digital mapping, ecommerce development, MVC PHP development in Zend and server administration of large-scale load-balanced Amazon cloud setups, Ed came to Dara Creative in 2012 to gain further experience in client-focused frontend application development. He has also deployed and maintained Wordpress- and Drupal-based websites in his spare time.

His interests include the politics of the Web-Standards movement, the evolution of technical specifications for the web and related Linked-Data technologies and their applications in SEO.

Ed has recently completed projects for ACT, Sideline, Science Week, Oddball and Kilsaran.

A Drupal and Joomla specialist, Rob has been building websites since 1995. 

As co-founder and lead mentor of the Galway Coder Dojo, Rob's main interests have always been focused on Research and Education. His pet project is an educational web based game engine. He is an active proponent of open data and open source. He prefers Firefox over Chrome.

Rob has been involved in numerous Dara Creative client projects and is currently working on the new and improved Flora's Mini Marathon website.

Lisa started building websites in 2004. She has a passion for web standards and open source and is a keen proponent of efficient and responsive design. 

She has extensive experience with Joomla CMS, and is the creator of the Joomla! Flexi skeleton template. As co-founder of the Irish Joomla! User Group and the Galway CoderDojo she loves to share her esoteric CSS secrets and attention to detail with her peers and dojo students.

Lisa has recently joined the Dara Creative team, where she is focusing her research and development skills on Drupal projects. Recently completed projects for Dara Creative's clients include Candledata and Fenero.

Pawel is both a Front-end developer and graphic designer with 8 years of experience. His skill in both web design and front-end development provides him with a unique outlook on the challenges presented by the modern web. He also has excellent experience in creating responsive and mobile websites.

Recent projects completed by Pawel for Dara Creative clients include the Garland Consultancy and Bridgestock websites.

Piotr graduated in 2006 with a BA in Science - Computer Systems from the Technical University in Koszalin, Poland. Skilled in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL, Piotr has been building brochure websites, online stores and content management systems for 7 years. 

During that time, he has been working mainly in the e-commerce sector and completed over 30 B2C and B2B e-commerce projects that helped clients from Ireland and UK grow their online businesses. He's experienced in setting up pricing and shipping rules, payment gateways and CRM integration.

Since joining Dara Creative in late 2012, he has been involved in many key client projects such as ACT, HKC and Kilsaran projects.

Luke is an up and coming talent within the Dara Creative Development team with 2 years experience of front end development. He has a keen interest in furthering his skills in this area and welcomes opportunities to take on challenging new projects. 

A key member of the Dara Creative Support team, Luke provides excellent levels of service to our clients with Support contracts. Luke also provides invaluable training to our clients in the ModX CMS and Campaign Monitor email marketing tool, enabling them to update and manage their websites.

Ronan joined Dara Creative’s team in January 2013 to expand his skills based on web technologies. His role is to support clients along with key members of the Dara Creative Support team. 

Ronan has four years experience in the area of web development, in commercial and freelance capacities. This experience has allowed him to gain excellent presentation skills and delivering presentations in his area of web designing and web development.

Paula has more than 10 years experience of offline and digital marketing working for a variety of local and international brands in B2C and B2B companies. She is skilled in the development and implementation of strategic digital marketing plans for clients, in particular export marketing campaigns for international business growth. Her particular areas of interest include content and inbound marketing including blogging, social media and email marketing methods.

She holds a BA (Honours) in Media & Communications and English from the University of Limerick, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations (PRII/Fitzwilliam Institute) and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing (Distinction) from the Digital Marketing Institute/FETAC. 

Google Adwords Qualified in Search Advertising

Robbie is interested in everything related to the digital world and online advertising – Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Social Media Marketing (SMM). In particular he is interested in AdWords, Analytics and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO).

He is a qualified Google AdWords professional and also holds a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.

He has experience with all Google products including Webmaster tools, Analytics and Adwords. His Digital Marketing experience consists of Onsite web marketing, Email marketing, Blogging, Online PR, SEO, Facebook marketing, Link building and Paid advertising.

Rob is passionate about the Digital World and everything related to Digital Marketing, with a particular interest in Search Engine Marketing.

He has extensive experience working with various Google Applications such as Adwords, Analytics, Keyword Tools, Google+ Local pages, WebMaster Tools & AdSense and SEO Practices to maintain Search Engine Friendly websites. Rob is also a social media enthusiast with many years experience in the use of tools such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Linkedin and Pinterest for business marketing. He recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing with the Digital Marketing Institute with distinctions.

Ann Marie recently graduated from Athlone Institute of Technology with an Honours degree in Business. Prior to this she gained distinctions in Administrative Procedures and Business & Secretarial Studies.

She is responsible for managing our reception and office administration functions and an invaluable support to our sales and finance teams on a daily basis. With a keen interest in marketing, Ann Marie has also been involved in assisting the Dara Creative Marketing Team with various projects.
