Grosvenor Services « Back
Winner of a Gold Award at the 2009 Irish Design Effectiveness Awards (IDEA)
"It's fantastic. Our new brochures have helped us to win new business tenders and contracts.
This is a big achievement by any standards but an amazing feat considering today's current economic climate."
Edyta Jankowska, Sales & Marketing Assistant, Grosvenor Cleaning Services
The Background
Established in 1959, Grosvenor Cleaning Services is one of Ireland's leading contract cleaning and services companies.
The Challenge
Grosvenor has operations in both the British and US markets as well as its core business within the Irish market. They wanted a cohesive look and feel to their identify that would cross borders easily.
Our Approach
Our first task was to take a successful brand and modernise it. Grosvenor had been around a long time, so too had its brand. As its current branding and marketing materials where outdated, the company was concerned how it would come across in its overseas operations. We started the process by updating the branding and print literature, before moving onto the design and development of a new website.
At the heart of its services are the people that Grosvenor employ and serve. As such, we used stylised people photography to highlight the wide range of specialised cleaning services offered, the results that clients get and the happy employees that work for Grosvenor.
The photography completed by specialist photographer Gary Jordan included people from various ethnic groups, allowing the website and brochure to work across a diverse range of market sectors.
The website features the Modx content management system, image galleries and dynamic content areas.
Result
The result was a high quality suite of literature, marketing material and company website which provided an essential marketing tool for the company and provided a major boost for new business development both in Ireland and overseas. The company recently secured the lucrative cleaning contract for Ikea's new Dublin store.
