Background
Crean Mosaics is Ireland's largest commercial flooring contractor, specialising in the supply of floor and wall tiles to the leisure, healthcare, pharmaceutical, electronic and retail sectors.
The Challenge
Crean Mosaics wanted a new identity and brochure to present a modern, professional look for it's Commercial and Retail Divisions.
Our Approach
We set about differentiating Crean Mosaics from its competitors. The company has over 40 years experience and we wanted to showcase this longevity and expertise in its branding and marketing materials.
Firstly we specifically focused on creating a new brand identity and high quality brochure for the company to support its direct sales activities. As with many corporate brochures, the starting point was high quality photography to capture the impressive finished projects and professional, flexible that the company prides itself on. We the image library in place we begin the design of the new brand identity, creating a clean, crisp identity based loosely on the tile products themselves.
With the branding agreed we applied it to a full suite of stationery and other branded materials including stationery, vehicle livery and site signage. The new landscape brochure was designed to highlight the photos of the impressive interior fit out projects undertaken by Crean.
In phase two we incorporated the new look and feel into two new websites, www.creanmosaics.com that targeted the Commercial sector and www.creansceramiccity.com that targets the retail market. Branding guidelines were set to ensure consistency of the look and feel across all media methods.
The Results
The Crean Mosaics website that won an IDEA award (Silver Award for Most Effective Web Design) helped to increase sales by 10% in 2007 after its launch. It also enabled them to open a Cork office to service the Munster market due to the increased demand.
