The National Chemical Company (NCC) is a leading raw material and sourcing specialist. They supply a comprehensive range of materials and ingredients to the life science, polymers, food and industrial sectors in Ireland and the UK.
What We Did
This project has been a great example of where design, development, content and digital marketing working together have set a client up with a great base to achieve results.
UX & Design
In order to create a brand and marketing strategy, the team carried out market and peer research which helped them better understand NCC’s offering. In a workshop, Alan and his team worked with our Creative Director to define exactly who they are, how they are positioned against their competitors and what opportunities they have in the marketplace. This brand value research formed the foundation upon which the entire project was built, from architecture to design and from content to advertising. Our team also worked with Alan and his colleagues on their brand messaging and content, ensuring that the brand values, USP’s and positioning came through in their content and we ensured that their content was optimised for search engines. A fully detailed digital marketing strategy was created to ensure that NCC would be ready to showcase their new online platform in both the Irish and UK market.
Once the positioning and strategy were established, we then commenced work on the site architecture using the positioning and customer insights, which the client discussed with us in great detail, to inform its basic structure. We knew the design needed to reflect their positioning and fundamental to this was their greatest asset, their people. So we commissioned and directed a photoshoot to capture the NCC expert teams and the individuals which make the company the success that it is. Coupled with a responsive layout, clear navigation and a content driven design, we delivered a website via Drupal which positions NCC as the global pharma, food and medical polymers solutions partner of choice. We then launched the UK site with various elements added to represent the UK company offering for NatChemCo. The Commercial Director for NatChemCo, worked closely with our design and marketing team to ensure that the UK site was launched successfully. To support their new digital marketing strategy, our team set up the various applications for NCC to use to promote their product / service online.
At present, we’re working with NCC on an ongoing basis and plan to advance their growth plans, particularly in the UK market. With their new websites and online marketing presence, NCC hope to attract new clients and increase overall brand recognition. In order to support the NCC team, we helped showcase and reveal their new website and brand identity through various online marketing tactics. These included email marketing, content marketing and social media marketing. Both the Dublin and UK office staff were trained by our Digital Marketing team on using LinkedIn for business development and sales.

Working with the team at Dara Creative has helped us reimagine our brand online and offline. We now have two new engaging and sales focused websites helping grow our business in Ireland and the UK. The Dara team devised and implemented our new digital strategy and already we've seen noticeable improvements in our search engine rankings, more people visiting our site and getting in touch. We are continuing to work with them on promotional campaigns and to grow our brand further.
