Improve the digital skills of young unemployed Europeans!
Compass is a 2-year pilot project co-financed by the European Commission, running in France, Ireland, Italy and Romania. The project’s aim is to build an online platform for learning and evaluating digital competency. The digitalisation of the economy has made these digital skills a key requirement for many positions and future jobs will require a progressively higher level of competence. First Beneficiaries: young unemployed (15-30 years old) Employers, Recruiters, Education and Training stakeholders. First Beta launch: Scheduled for the beginning of 2018
The goal of the project is to create a free, innovative, project-based learning platform to bridge the gap between the requirements of Employers and the insufficient digital skills of Young Unemployed in order to increase their employability. Using DigComp (The Digital Competence Framework), as our starting point, we are working to create a platform with content and features that are useful, relevant and innovative.

Dara Creative are the Co-Project Leaders of the Consortium and our role is to develop the overall Strategy and Project Roadmap, create the New Brand, lead the User Led Design of the platform and manage the content, marketing stategy and ongoing promotion in 4 EU countries. First Beta Platform launch: Scheduled for the beginning of 2018, With an Iterative release of the Platform in 3 phases with User Testing with users at each stage.
Background Research & User Needs Analysis with Experts Young Unemployed and Stakeholders in 4 EU countries, EU & International Peer Research, Development of a Product Vision and Project Roadmap, Definition of the Education Approach & eTools, Brand Name & Brand Identity Development, Platform Architecture & Functional Spec, Platform UX & Interface Design including User Testing, Development of the Platform in Drupal 8 including interactive features and tools, Development of e-Learning Courses and LMS to faciliate a Project Based Learning approach, Creation of website / course content and localisation in 3 languages, Iterative release of the Platform in 3 phases with User Testing with users at each stage. Monitoring and moderation of the plaform, and its features Multi-Channel Marketing Strategy creation & management for the launch and rollout in 4 countries.
