Dara Creative is currently recruiting an experienced Website Developer to work with our multi award winning design and web development team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Web Developer to develop their skills and progress their career in an open and creative environment.

Must Haves:

Minimum 5 + years commercial web development experience
Excellent XHTML / CSS skills
Excellent knowledge of javascript and jquery framework
Solid understanding of PHP and experience with MVC frameworks preferable
MySQL Database experience a necessity
ASP.NET experience an advantage
Command line experience and administration of a UNIX based OS
Working knowledge of DNS servers
Initiative, drive and willingness to learn / innovate

Role / Opportunity:

Building design rich websites to strict XHTML / CSS standards
Set up of sites in PHP and software development using MVC frameworlks
Cross browser display and technical testing
Deploying sites to server and domain repointing
Training clients in CMS systems, attending sales and project meetings
Custom web application development projects using PHP / ASP.NET

Applications are invited for both short-term contract work and permanent positions. Permanent contracts will be awarded following an initial trial period to determine ability and fit with the existing design and development team. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and skill set.
